Feasibility Study on Banana Balls Business

The food business is a business sector that is of great interest to the public, because apart from generating income, this business also continues to experience innovation. Competition in the food business sector is increasing, encouraging entrepreneurs to develop creativity in processing food as well as effective marketing strategies to increase sales value and product quality. Consumer satisfaction, such as good service, can increase customer loyalty and company sales. Marketing strategies need to adapt to market trends and conditions to increase product superiority. One of the innovative products is Bola Bola Banana, a healthy snack made from bananas covered in chocolate and topped with cookies, marketed with an attractive appearance and affordable prices. The marketing target for this product is Universal University campus residents. Banana Ball production costs include variable costs and fixed costs, with a total production cost per day of IDR 116,639.64. The research method used is qualitative-descriptive, including analysis of production costs, Break-Even Point (BEP), and Net Present Value (NPV). The analysis results show that BEP is achieved by selling a minimum of 9 units of product, and the net profit per day is IDR 20,360.36. A positive NPV shows that this investment is profitable and worth continuing. Effective cost calculations and sales strategies are needed to achieve maximum profits.
